One of a series of sounds i made using a small squeeze toy that just happens to be shaped like a cob of corn. I felt like the expulsion of air made a nice swishy ui sound. Recorded with a rode nt1 into a universal audio arrow.

One of a series of heavily processed sounds i made using a small squeeze toy that just happens to be shaped like a cob of corn. I used s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, to combine these swishy sounds with various other metallic and synthetic sounds from my own library. The results are dynamic and surprising, and might be useful for certain kinds of unusual ui sound design.

I stood quite sheltered from the wind, above me the rustling trees from the breeze that was just blowing. In the distance a dog was barking. Nice stereo effect :-). The recording is edited. I created this torture sound for a short film i made. I used a verse 504 labtech mic with a sony mini disc recorder in my garage. I smashed a cantaloupe with a hammer adjusting mic placement until i had the desired volume and sound.

My tower fan is loud and annoying and broken.

A diesel train flushing out the condensation from a particular valve, as i am told. Sounds like electricity sparking or something. It was quite loud, my gain was set extremely low, enough that i didn't pick up any of the road traffic with cars passing a few feet behind me.
